After giving fans a peek at her brand new back tattoo last month, Billie Eilish has finally shared a full look at her new ink, and it's way bigger than we thought.
Eilish shared the entirety of her back tattoo with fans in a recent Instagram dump. She chose to share the moment she actually got the ink, as we can see the stencils on the side as well as overflowing ink smudged across the star's back. It looks like the pic is actually a mid-progress update from Matias Milan's chair since we can only see the tattoo's outline, and we know her final design is filled.
The picture shows Eilish's bare back, with her new tattoo outline spanning all the way from her nape to her lower back. We are still not entirely sure what the pattern is supposed to represent for the star, but there's no denying it looks amazing.

Billie Eilish got a new back tattoo — but we can't see the whole thing just yet. The musician gave fans a quick look at the piece in a recent Instagram photo dump, and though we can't see the whole thing, what we can tell it looks so cool.
Eilish shared a glimpse at the fresh ink as the first image in her photo drop, noting that it was done by tattoo artist Matias Milan. In the pic, we see Eilish as shot from behind, wearing a layered hat combo with a bit of her bright red hair peeking out. The ink starts at the base of her neck and is a bevy of bold black strokes drawn downwards. That's literally all we can see, as Eilish's shirt is covering up the rest. Theories abound, but until the musician gives us another look at the art, we can only guess what it is. Maybe it stops there! Maybe it takes up her entire back! We really don't know, but if it made the cut for Eilish, it's gotta be good.

This isn't Eilish's first big piece; she's added quite a bit of ink to her collection in recent years, including a few fairies inspired by a favorite childhood book on her hand, a giant dragon on her waist, hip, and thigh; and her last name on her chest in a gothic style font.
The photo dump also revealed a few signature Eilish style moments, including lots of fall layering inspo with beanies and hoodies and her forever-favorite basketball shorts and Nike combo. Fresh hair color, new ink, back to the classic Billie look … what could this mean?
