After a decade, Beyoncé has made her grand return to the Met Gala on the 2026 red carpet as one of the night’s co-chairs. She brought a very special guest, Blue Ivy, and donned a skeleton-like look for the big night.

Beyoncé wore a sheer gown with embellishments in the shape of a skeleton and a feathery gown to boot, designed by Olivier Rousteing. She styled the look with ultra-sparkly jewelry, including a crown and hoop earrings. Her special guest of the night, Blue Ivy, wore a gown with an athleisure spin, exemplifying mother-daughter style perfectly.

Beyoncé went for a high-glam look. She wore her long honey-blonde hair in soft curls. Her makeup was bright and shiny, the perfect style to complement her overall look. Bright pink warm blush was placed right on the apples of her cheeks.

It’s been a decade since Beyoncé’s last Met Gala appearance. When she previously attended the Met Gala in 2016, she wore a nude latex dress with floral motifs accented by pearls. The Givenchy look was selected for the “Manus x Machina: Fashion in an Age of Technology” theme. She also wore Givenchy for all of her appearances between 2012 and 2015, including her unforgettable sheer dress and train adorned by glittering colorful gemstones, accented by her super high ponytail. For her debut in 2008, she wore Armani, a blush pink dress with a ruffled accent, and in 2011, an Emilio Pucci dress, black with gold embroidery.

Now that she’s starting a new chapter at the Met Gala, and as a co-chair for the benefit alongside Nicole Kidman, Venus Williams, and Anna Wintour, her new look is a fresh twist.
