Imagine being Blue Ivy Carter for a minute. You get to perform on stage with your mom, who just so casually happens to be Beyoncé, Lizzo copies your dance moves, and you have access to one of the most incredible closets of all time. Yes, when your mother is Beyoncé, there's really no limit to what you can do and wear.
Carter and her mom have had their fair share of cute matching moments in the past, wearing everything from mommy-and-me Gucci dresses to Lion King looks, but one particular dress caught the Beyhive's attention. Carter was spotted hand-in-hand with Bey in New York City en route to a wedding wearing a sage green silk slip dress that fans instantly clocked as a doppelgänger to a dress Beyoncé had previously worn to another wedding.

On Twitter, fans referenced a line from The Carters' song "LOVEHAPPY" about sharing clothes: "I'll give my daughter my custom dresses, so she gon' be litty." Now, Blue Ivy's dress looks a lot like Bey's, but it's not actually a hand-me-down from her mom's closet.
In the candid shots, the young star-in-the-making is wearing Reformation's Bryn Silk Dress in artichoke, a classic bias-cut slip dress with a cowl neck and midi length. At $328, it's also probably more affordable than the dress worn by Beyoncé in 2021. Blue Ivy styled her dress with sandals and hoop earrings, while her mom wore a blush pink dress and furry jacket.
Blue Ivy Carter has been in the public eye since before she was born, but as she steps further into the spotlight alongside her parents, we'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more looks inspired by her mom — or "borrowed" directly from her closet!
