On July 24, as temperatures soared, Bella Hadid stepped out onto the cobblestone streets of New York City in quite the eye-catching look.
It wasn’t her black shiny shoes that turned heads, nor was her leopard print and lime green Chrome Hearts tote bag that sent the paparazzi snapping. Instead, it was her crop top by the label Mirror Palais.
The model opted for a cream polo that wasn’t merely an abridged version of a shirt, but rather a bra-meets-top that sculpted the bust in a cup form. For maximum midriff reveal, Bella sported a pair of baggy army green pants that were shimmied down to her hips. If there was an ambassador for crop tops, it would most likely be Bella. (Although Emily Ratajkowski is also a fellow contender.)
Just last week, Bella constructed a full swing set, complete with a power drill, while wearing a cheeky crop top. A week before that, the model was spotted heading out to play tennis in a cut-off white polo. I’d like to think that a crop top label is in the future for Bella. She does have her collaboration with Chrome Hearts, so that dream isn’t so far off! Until then you can shop similar styles below:
