aespa’s Giselle has fans, nicknamed MY, in a tizzy with a recent Instagram post. Her photo dump includes a photo of a floral tattoo along the rib cage, sending unsuspecting fans into shock.
While on the 2024 aespa Live Tour Synk: Parallel Line in Japan, Giselle shared a series of various different pictures to her personal Instagram page, including the view from her plane seat, a selfie with her dog, and a mirror selfie of her tattoo. The ink, which fans are seeing up close for the first time, is a floral crawler across her ribcage. Giselle wore her shirt like a crop top to show the tattoo off in the pic.
About a year ago, fans first speculated that the K-pop idol had a tattoo after spotting the pattern on her waist when she was wearing a high-leg bodysuit during a concert in Japan. While Giselle did tease fans later, she didn’t quite confirm nor deny if it was real.

With this new pic, Giselle reignited fans’ curiosity, prompting a lot of buzz about the tattoo and whether it was real on social media. The topic of tattoos even came up during a recent livestream she was hosting, and her response stirred up even more buzz.
Although Giselle didn’t talk about the new photo and the potential tattoo on her waist, she did reveal that she previously had a tattoo on the inside of her bottom lip. Inner lip tattoos gained popularity in the late 2010s and more recently among celebrities since they’re hidden. However, due to their nature, inner lip tattoos tend to lose pigmentation over time. Such was the case for Giselle, who shared that her habitual lip movement causes them to fade and eventually disappear.
It’s still not certain whether Giselle’s waist tattoo is real or not, but just knowing Giselle has previously gotten a tattoo made fans super excited and we’re sure MY will be on the lookout for any more clues and tattoos!
