On March 22, it was announced that Pierpaolo Piccioli would be leaving his role as creative director of Valentino. Piccioli, who has been with Valentino for 25 years, has held the title of creative director since 2008. Back then, he shared the role with Maria Grazia Chiuri. When Chiuri left for Dior in 2016, Piccioli took over as the sole creative director until now.
Throughout all these years at Valentino, Piccioli’s work has had immeasurable influence on the fashion world and culture as a whole. From PP pink to sheer, there have been countless trends bolstered by his impact. His work has led to unforgettable runway, red carpet, street style, and also wedding moments.
