The Victoria's Secret After Party Had A Lot of Black, Sheer, and Barely Here Looks

In what felt like a feather-filled throwback to the 2000s, the Victoria's Secret runway show swept its way back onto the social radar on October 15. From VS favorites like Tyra Banks and Bella Hadid to newcomers like Lila Moss and Alex Consani, models adorned in lingerie charmed their way down the runway. Aside from the beauty and fantasy of the show, we all know that the hottest looks can always be found at the after party.

To celebrate the return of fashion’s most iconic and controversial catwalk, a star-studded guest list showed up and showed out at the meatpacking district in New York. And with that celebration, it's clear that sheer and after party have become almost synonymous at this point. It was also one of the coldest nights NYC has seen this fall, so it's always surprising to see just how dedicated these stars are to the look, even when it's 55 degrees outside.

In the age of quiet luxury, seeing every top model, pop star and socialite step out in bold glamour was such a relief for fashion lovers across Beyonce’s internet. From basketball superstars Angel Reese and Kysre Gondrezick to VS bombshells Alessandra Ambrosio and Adriana Lima, it is safe to say that we were fed. Shots from outside the party captured an array of after dark lingerie-inspired looks that serve as perfect inspiration for the holiday season. Much like the runway show, underwear took center stage at the after party. Anok Yai wore a structured black corset with tights and singer Tyla opted for a lacy ivory bralette. Others chose to layer their underwear with gorgeous gowns like Ashley Graham’s silky lace-up dress with a cheetah print bra peeking through, and Jasmine Tookes, who paired her golden gown with a shimmering silver bra.

The stars looked like they were attending the most fabulous sleepover party. Black was the vibe and sultry cut-outs in satin and leather and were in abundance. Sheer mesh was also a hot commodity, with singer Coco Jones and personality Jordyn Woods showing some skin in black embroidered dresses, and model Imaan Hammam topping her black lingerie with a sheer dress robe.
