Selena Gomez is Making Loungewear and Heels A Thing Again.
GC Images1/7She’s made it clear by now that she just wants to look good for us, but sometimes Selena Gomez has a unique way of showing it. All puns aside, we’ve been in awe of her refreshed approach to dressing in the past year that’s gone hand-in-hand with her new sound. If you look back you’ll notice she wears almost exclusively red, black and white—in a myriad of combinations.
Well, her latest paparazzi moment at LAX is no exception. Gomez traipsed through the terminal in a matching cherry red set of Vetements sweatshirt and track pants—with strappy white stiletto sandals and a black top handle Louis Vuitton bag. We’d call this look something along the lines of “lazy lady,” maybe, to describe the way she’s mixing athleisure staples with ultra-feminine accessories and messy hair. (It’s giving us serious throwback vibes to when she rather geniously wore slinky navy pajamas with red sandal heels last year.)
While Selena’s exact look is high-end from head-to-toe (her Vetements sweats are upwards of $600), you can easily put together a similar look with cozy pieces from your favorite athletic brands (Champion, Adidas, and Uniqlo come to mind).
