Even though her role was small — she just played “Waterpark Girl” — it’s still fun to watch Selena in her earliest roles. She was only 11 when this movie came out!.

Usually sequels aren’t great, but Selena’s follow-up to Hilary Duff’s A Cinderella Story was a true fairytale ending. The only thing better would be if they made a movie together, or if Lizzie McGuire came back.

We got the best of both worlds when Selena played Mikayla on Hannah Montana. She was Miley’s friend but Hannah’s pop-music rival, and had a hit song called “If Cupid Had a Heart.” Oddly enough, Sel didn’t actually sing on the show — she lip-synced to another girl’s track.

Demi and Selena reunited for this fun Disney movie about a princess (Demi) who befriends a lovable tomboy (Sel) while she’s hiding from some bad guys who tried to kidnap her family. We’d watch them in anything together.
7/13Arthur and the Great Adventure
This time around, Selena got to play royalty. She voiced Princess Selenia in the live-action animated hybrid alongside big names like Jimmy Fallon, Snoop Dogg, Fergie, and Freddie Highmore.

The adaptation of Beverly Cleary’s books probably made you nostalgic for childhood, and Selena as Beezus and Joey King as Ramona was a sweet sisterly combo. Watching their hijinks will make you miss your family.

Funny story: Selena makes a teeny-tiny cameo in the Eli Roth horror-thriller because she was performing in Chile when they were filming. It’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moment in the terrifying movie.
