Now it seems that the newest chapter of Sel’s well dressed journey (which we’ve been following here, here, and here) is all about doing head-to-toe black. It’s been nearly the only color she’s worn over the last few days of her visit to New York City but, just like all her outfits lately, in an extraordinarily chic way. Lest you ever find yourself thinking nothing but noir can feel boring, we’ve compiled her five most recent looks to prove otherwise. GC Images2/6With its strategically layered mix of sheer netting and opaque fabric, this mini shift dress doesn’t need a ton of jewelry or makeup to stand out. Equally streamlined sandal heels and movie star shades finish the outfit without overwhelming its streamlined simplicity.

To keep the sleek, minimalist vibe going, she tops the sets with mirrored sunglasses and open toed mules (the same pair as before!).
2015 BuzzFoto4/6All black, off-duty edition: a relaxed silk jumpsuit that’s slouchy in all the right ways. While we’re so into the way Sel’s dressed this one up with her favorite heels (third time in a row!), this piece would work equally well with matching leather sneakers.
