Jennifer Lawrence
A highly textured pixie and a vintage-inspired sequined Dior frock set the scene for the American Hustle actress's showstopping red carpet look. Also notable? Her dark smoky eye, painted by Jillian Dempsey, that gave the whole look an unexpected dose of rock 'n' roll. She added the all-important smokiness with Dior's Crayon Khôl in Black, then she diffused a blend of greige and black eyeshadows on top to bring out Lawrence's gorgeous gaze.

Lupita Nyong'o
The 12 Years a Slave actress—and winner for Best Female Actor in a Supporting Role—was a vision in a turquoise Gucci ensemble. Inspired by the gorgeous gown, makeup artist Nick Barose interpreted the color on her eyes with a blend of iridescent Chanel shadows (mainly the Quadra palette in Fascination). "It’s important to note that it wasn’t an exact match of blue," he says. "I balanced it out with purple and yellow on the eyelids, and kept the bold blue in the inner corners of the eyes so it looked unexpected." Meanwhile, hair guru Ted Gibson coiffed her super-short hairstyle to immaculate, Grace Jones-like precision.

Sarah Hyland
The actress continues her red carpet winning streak, looking absolutely immaculate with Veronica Lake-esque waves and super luminous makeup. Artist Allan Avendaño was inspired by her ballet pink Pamela Rolland dress, so he added a hint of pastel pink blush to the cheeks and matched that with a sweep of pink from Dior’s 5 Couleurs Trianon Edition in Pastel Fontages on the eyelid. "I also dusted the ice pink shadow over the cheekbones for a highlighting effect," he says. Genius!

Ariel Winter
The Modern Family star rocked super shiny, ultra-soft waves—an easy style that complemented her printed Badgley Mischka dress. "I curled the hair away from her face with a 1.25 inch iron, only focusing on mid-shaft to the ends," says stylist Tony Chavez. "Then, I brushed them out and sprayed Oribe Texturizing Spray to add some natural waves and give extra hold."
