First, I applied NARS PRO-PRIME Multi Protect Primer SPF 30. Since we were shooting outside, sun protection was key.

For the foundation, I used NARS Deauville Sheer Glow Foundation. It gave a luminous finish to the skin without looking heavy.

For extra highlights, I used NARS Copacabana Illuminator, applied on cheeks and around the eyes.

To add more drama, I used NARS London Eyeliner Pencil all around her eye. It’s a foggy gray shade, and it intensified the look, without making it too dark.

For her eye makeup, I really wanted to create a smokey eye, but at the same time keep it light and fresh. I used NARS Violetta Duo Eyeshadow, applying the smokey lavender in the lashline and crease, and then metallic violet in the center and browbone.
NARS Duo Eyeshadow Compact, $33. Amazon.com.

To complete the look, I applied NARS Larger Than Life Volumizing Mascara.

As we began to shoot, I became really inspired by the bright pops of color that Nina was wearing. I wanted to play off them in a softer way. That’s why, for cheek and lips, I went for sheer pinks. I used NARS Sex Appeal Blush right on the apple of her cheeks, which gave the perfect amount of color.
NARS Sex Appeal Blush, $27. Narscosmetics.com.

And for the lips, I applied NARS Roman Holiday Lipstick and then added NARS Angelika Lip Gloss. It gave Nina the perfect spring look that’s fresh and easy to replicate!
