All the Tattoos From Love Island US Season 7, Ranked
Love Island, our favorite guilty pleasure, is back once again. Summertime means we’re getting six weeks of unadulterated access to a crop of young people wanting nothing more than endless chats, avocado toast, pancakes, and make-out sessions. Specifically, following the success of season six of Love Island USA, there has been an influx of viewers tuning in to season 7. As we hit the halfway point, fandoms have already been built, OGs have been sent home, and friendships have been tested.
Last year, PPG friend group member Leah Kateb was a standout from the series due to her impressive vintage closet, which she brought with her to Fiji. But this year, something else is catching our eyes. Love Island Season 7 has already given us some unforgettable drama, social media discourse, and... some eyebrow-raising body art. From monikers to “Wait, is that the Joker?” designs, the cast’s tattoos are as varied as their recoupling strategies. Here’s our totally subjective and 100% serious ranking of all of the tattoos from the Season 7 villa.

Huda similarly has a ton of tiny tattoos, a common feature among this crop of Islander girls. She has “1963” tattooed near her sideboob with Arabic phrases on the top part of her ribcage, across her collarbone, and on her thigh. She also has her daughter's birthdate tatted on her forearm and “/love-r/” on the side of her bottom. All of these tiny tats are fun additions, and you're spotting a new one almost every episode.

Casa Amor girl Vanna might not have lasted long in the villa, but her subtle ribcage tattoo is on the best side of the list of these tattoos. That seems to be a prime spot for a lot of the women.

Once again, that left ribcage is a hot commodity for this season's girls. Casa Amor girl Coco also has a tattoo in the same spot. Hers is a classic butterfly.

Hannah is the ultra-tiny tattoo queen. She has a simple design on her bicep that's barely visible in most of her appearances, and she also has cherries on her lower abdomen, similar to Chelley.

Cierra also kept it simple and subtle with two small identical tattoos above both of her elbows. It's a great touch when you're looking for a more peek-a-boo approach to body art.

The final addition to the top half of the best tattoos list is Olandria. She, similarly to Huda, has an Arabic phrase across her collarbone. It's a perfect spot for a simple tattoo, though an online creator speculated that her tattoo is backward, so it serves as a reminder to triple-check spellings and translations.

Starting the bottom half of the list strong, we have a few questions for these tattooed Islanders. First up is Pepe. While Pepe's tattoos are arguably well placed and not overbearing, it is very hard to look past his large Joker tattoo and focus on the chats. Instead, we have many questions bouncing around in our heads. Does he relate to the Joker? Is that just his favorite movie? We need answers, Pepe!

Zac's time in the villa was very short, so his tattoos did not have the proper time to marinate, which is why he's here on this list. I think a sleeve is a fun selection when leaning into multiple tattoos, like the snake, butterfly, and giant five tally marks. There's room for interpretation, so we're just not sure what to make of it all — and that's okay. Do your thing, king!

America's Sweetheart is not exempt from this list. While he did win us over, Jalen has some tattoos we would be interested in hearing more about. We know he is a sweet, southern Georgia man, so that one on his chest is pretty self-explanatory. Across from that swing state is some sort of creature, but we're not sure what it is! Jalen, please make a TikTok and explain your reasoning soon.

Ace has been a menACE this season. The ultimate pot-stirrer, so it's no wonder (as a Leo himself) that he has his nickname tatted across his back. That alone has put him towards the tail end of this list. He also has the words “God's Child" across his shoulders, which is a nice touch. On his chest, we see a young boy staring at a lion. This may be another nod to his astrology sign, though we can't be certain. One thing's for sure, it's one you won't miss since it's straight across his chest.

Bryan went from Casa Amor boy to a friendly face after he stood behind the people's princess, Amaya Papaya. But that does not absolve him of his overwhelming tattoo display! Between the undisclosed lady and man on his abdomen, the wolf (hello, Jacob Black) on his chest, and the lingering caution tape across his ribcage, we have some questions — actually, too many that cannot be answered in the allotted time given.

The men on this season love their chest tattoos, but for Taylor, it's one big one riding solo. Taylor has the bible verse Matthew 19:26 tattooed across his right pec, a nice touch. He then has on his opposite peck the phrase: “Ape Shall Not Kill Ape” with an ape's face directly next to it. This actually has a double meaning potentially for Taylor. The phrase is a core tenet of Caesar's philosophy in the Planet of the Apes movie franchise, but could also be a nod to his fraternity Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc. And while these are clearly personal to him, we're just wondering why the ink heaviness of the ape tattoo juxtaposes the text so much.

Similar to Taylor, Austin's tattoos are more sparse and spread between his chest and abdomen. Austin opted for some sort of cupid war happening across his chest featuring two baby angels pointing guns at each other with the word “not” sitting in a heart. As it so happens, it seems Austin is not in the villa to find love but to be on vacation so his choice of tattoo is very fitting. He also has an unnamed woman on his abdomen sipping a drink. Tattoos of faces seem to be quite the trend among the men this season!
Whether these tattoos were soul-deep declarations or spontaneous decisions made 10 minutes after turning 18, we applaud the bravery. Some Islanders wear their hearts on their sleeves —and others just tattoo them there! Either way, their choice of body ink has us tuned in just as much as their onscreen drama does.
