Will Alexander/WENN.com1/5Before we jump in and start gushing about how amazing Lorde looked at the Brit Awards after parties on Wednesday night, we do need to have a brief pause so we can indulge in a collective, “Whaaaaaat?” Remember a little over a year ago when Lorde, bestie Taylor Swift, and Diplo were tangled up in a weird Twitter thing that involved an inappropriate Kickstarter campaign? Us too.
It seems that the raven-haired singer has made peace with Diplo. The two stepped out to an after party together and looked rather cozy — but we wouldn’t put be surprised if Lorde had actually put the silly disagreement to rest long ago.
Now, her outfit! Lorde wore a perfectly draped black dress with a daring slit and off-the-shoulder silhouette and paired it with nude pumps and a dainty set of necklaces. We love how simple and sophisticated her outfit is, and can’t wait to try a similar look this weekend.
