Jodie Woods Dropped an Exclusive Lip Kit With MAC Cosmetics

One of the most asked questions Jodie Woods always receives under her TikTok GRWM videos is, “What lip combo are you wearing?” If you’ve ever encountered one of her selfies or beauty videos, you may already be familiar with the social media influencer’s signature nude glossy lip. The simple yet stunning lip look gives a nod to the viral TikTok “latte makeup” trend and is very easy to achieve, thanks to Jodie’s exclusive lip kit with MAC Cosmetics.
“I've been using MAC for like forever. My mom would always have MAC in her makeup bag. So I've been using their lipsticks literally ever since I could walk,” Jodie tells Teen Vogue.

“They [MAC] gave me the opportunity, and I was like, of course, I'm doing it. And I just picked my original lip combo that I've been using for years. Literally, I love this combo.”
The lippie kit is the first-of-its-kind collaboration for MAC and is part of three limited-edition influencer sets featuring signature lip combos from model Cindy Kimberly and Youtuber Alissa Ashley. When it came to choosing the specific hues, Jodie knew right away what colors she wanted to go for.
“I mean, I always have like a brown lip liner or kind of like a brown type of plum lip liner. I have always used the MAC Cork and the MAC Plum lip liner. So at first, I was thinking about doing cork or plum, and then I just decided on cork because I feel like brown looks good on everybody. But that's like my go-to lip combo. “I love a nice brown with a nude in the center and a clear gloss.”
Jodie also shared with us her step-by-step routine for achieving her glossy pout. Follow along below to recreate the look on yourself (you can also check out Jodie's reel on Instagram for a visual tutorial).
Step 1: Use the lip liner to outline your lips. “First, I go in with the cork liner and outline my lips, ” says Jodie. “I like to turn the pencil to the side to do my bottom lip. And I like my lips kind of dark, so I add a few layers by going over it a few times. And you could overline a little bit, too, if you like that. ”
Step 2: Apply the lip gloss. Then I go in with the lip gloss and when you try the lip gloss, you'll feel that it's pretty thick. Which I like a thick, clear gloss because it lasts so long.”
Step 3: Apply the lip glass. “Then I go in with my lip glass in the shade please me. And this is the perfect pinky nude. It's not too nude but not too pink either. And you'll see like I kind of have a line from my lip liner and I'll just use the please me to diffuse the line so it looks like a ombre lip. You could apply it right in the middle. And I don't like using too much. I kind of, um, take some of the product off of the brush part.”
