Five Substantial Snacks to Keep You Going Through Exam Week
It's not ideal to eat and run, but when it comes to exams, sometimes a few minutes is all you have! Finals are stressful and thinking about where you're going to get your next snack shouldn't be one more thing to worry about. Pack a few quick and delicious mini meals to eat during a study session or before an exam and you're good to go. Though treats with tons of sugar will give you an instant boost, they'll also send you on a major crash. Popcorn Trail Mix
"Air-popped popcorn bulks up trail mix," says Elissa. "For a sweet version, mix with any combination of chocolate chips, raisins, dried fruit, shredded coconut, banana chips, and nuts. For a savory version, mix with any combination of dried edamame, crumbled cheese, bits of jerky, nuts, cereal, and sunflower or pumpkin seeds."

Turkey Roll-ups
"Take thin-sliced deli meat (like turkey or ham) topped with a slice of cheese (swiss, cheddar, or American) and place it on a piece of lettuce. Then wrap it all up into a to-go roll."

Stuffed Fruit
"Take fresh strawberries and cut off the tops. Then, hollow out the inside and fill it with goat cheese or Laughing Cow Cheese Wedges. Or, try dates filled with almond butter. Finally, dried figs and peanut butter make another great combination."

Homemade Granola Bars
"Combine 1 cup dried apricots, 1/2 cup pitted dates, 1/2 cup raw roasted almonds, and 1 Tablespoon honey in a food processor. Press the mix into an 8x4 loaf pan lined with plastic wrap. Top with shredded coconut and refrigerate until firm, about 15-20 minutes. When they’ve hardened, cut them into bars."
