All the Celebrities at Golden Globes 2018 Who Wore Black to Protest
The 2018 Golden Globes red carpet has become a platform for protest against sexual misconduct in the workplace as dozens of celebrities are wearing all black in an act of solidarity against these abhorrent behaviors. While some people — including one of the #MeToo movement leaders, Rose McGowan — have criticized the idea of using red carpet dresses for this purpose, the activists attending alongside celebrities feel otherwise. In addition to the all-black looks we've seen on stars like Zoe Kravitz, Kendall Jenner, and more, many have also been sporting a Time's Up pin to raise awareness about the Time's Up Legal Defense Fund created to support sexual assault survivors.
On Twitter, the #WhyWeWearBlack hashtag is trending with an image that explains this movement. It reads, "I wear all black for equity and parity across all industries.
