behind the scenes
None of us will probably ever get the chance to be on the heels of a mega fashion designer as he trots around the globe, but this documentary is a pretty good substitute. Follow Mr. Jacobs himself as he gets inspired and figures out his collection, specifically Louis Vuitton for Spring 2008, and see some fashion heavyweight cameos along the way.

Mini-backpacks spell nostalgia for most girls, but this bag from Stella McCartney’s collaboration with LeSportsac turns this tiny trend up a notch. Although I can’t say much for it’s practicality for school, the floppy ears and added trinkets are pretty irresistible for fun.

good morning sunshine
We all need a little sunshine in these dreary winter months. Outwear is the perfect place to add a splash of color—you always have to wear a coat to protect yourself from the blistering cold, and the usual tweeds and blacks that jackets come in are so overdone. And who knows, you may even brighten someone's day (other than your own!)

The tried and true gladiator shoe has finally been given a lift! For those girls who would like a little height with their sandal, this is an ideal pick. Paired with tights in winter or barelegged with shorts come spring, these wedges will keep you sporty and striking without breaking the bank.
