17 Celebs With Equally Famous Dads
Although we’re normally ones to point out that we got it from our mamas, Father’s Day offers everyone a chance to celebrate first man in your life – dear old dad. And it turns out, celebrities also have a lot of love for their dads. In some cases, the apple didn’t fall far from the tree, either. Like famous father like famous kids (is that how the saying goes?). We’ve rounded up 12 celebrities with famous papas in the spirit of Father’s Day celebrations. And even though their dads have made their livings in Hollywood, we’d still wager that they embarrass their kids from time to time.
1/13Kids: Jaden and Willow SmithDad: Will Smith
In West Philadelphia born and raised…Wait, the Smith kids grew up in Southern California. We digress.
Will Smith is arguably one of the biggest stars from the '90s and early 2000s and he’s made sure his kids have always had the best of the best. Both Jaden and Willow have grown up in the spotlight and have become famous in their own way, and as their own people. The two are social media mavens, models, and musicians.
2/13__Kid:__Hailey BaldwinDad: Stephen Baldwin
You can’t go online without seeing a picture or story about Hailey lately. The 19-year-old model is known for her bright blonde locks and high cheekbones, and we have to believe she credits some of those genetics to her dad, Stephen Baldwin. He rose to fame after starring in the 1995 film The Usual Suspects, but you probably also know him as Alec Baldwin’s brother.
3/13Kids: Kourtney, Kim, Khloé and Rob KardashianDad: Robert Kardashian
We can’t put up a familial post without including the Kardashians. The late Robert Kardashian (uh, hello Rob’s namesake!!) rose to fame after defending O.J. Simpson in his infamous 1994 murder trial. The second generation of Kardashians haven’t been linked to anything quite so dubious, but The People v. OJ Simpson did include a monumental scene in what was supposed to be a young Kim's bedroom. (Whether that was real or not is out for debate.)

Can we all agree that Zoë Kravitz is an ethereal angel sent from above? The actress/model/musician/goddess channels a badass rocker vibe in everything she does. We have to assume she got the tenacious spirit and love of black eyeliner from her rocker dad, Lenny Kravitz.

Alright, the West kids haven’t exactly forged their own paths in Hollywood...yet. But the two offspring of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian are perhaps the most buzzed about babies, like, ever. Here’s to hoping they follow suit and end up in following in the footsteps of their parents, that is, ascending to pop culture royalty.

Before she was Marnie on Girls, Allison Williams was just a regular girl from Connecticut. That is, if you count growing up with a super-famous news anchor dad as being normal. In spite of her dad’s success, Allison has gone on to totally kill it in the spotlight. And aside from her theatrical accomplishments, the girl went to Yale. Yep, she’s got major brains, too.

You know Chris Pine from
your romantic fantasiesroles in movies like Star Trek, Into the Woods, and of course, Princess Diaries 2. But did you know your boo hails from Hollywood royalty? Chris’ dad, Robert Pine, is known for his performances on shows like Days of Our Lives and CHiPs. Although you might not remember these '80s-licious programs, you might get a smile out of knowing that Robert Pine guest-starred in a few episodes of Star Trek back in the day. As the old saying goes, the USS Enterprise doesn’t fall far from the tree.

Although less well-known than his wife, Cindy Crawford, Rande Gerber has made a name for himself in Hollywood. The former model and businessman runs tons of business ventures, including one he created with George Clooney. But the greatest gift he’s given to the world thus far is Kaia Gerber. The up-and-coming model may still be in high school, but we have a feeling she’ll be as successful as her famous parents, and soon, too.

Picture this: you’re a kid, just minding your own business, then you go to the theater to see the latest Disney movie and realize your dad wrote and performed the soundtrack. Talk about awkward. OK, so we don’t know how Lily Collins felt when she went to see Tarzan, but she’s definitely paved her own road to success since then.

Brooklyn Beckham’s parents are pretty legendary. Ahem, his mom is Posh Spice and his dad is only one of the most famous soccer players of all time. Have you ever listened to Jay Z’s “Glory” without bawling your eyes out? If so, you’re probably a monster.
