15 Blanket Scarves That Will Warm You Up on Even the Chilliest Fall Days

Our oversized obsession applies to accessories too — scarves, in particular. As fall fully kicks into gear (and we start to get glimpses of the winter ahead, brrr), we’re craving enormous, extra-cozy scarves.
Don’t be intimidated by the size of these scarves—the bigger the better, we promise! Their proportions actually make them easier to wear because anything goes. You can roll it, drape it, wrap it, tie it, tuck it. There’s no wrong way to wear a blanket-sized scarf. (Really!)
Here are a couple quick tricks we’ve learned: If your scarf is square, start by folding it into a triangle, then wrapping it over your shoulders or tying the longer ends loosely around your collar. With a more oblong scarf, you can start by holding one corner and making a loop with your thumb and forefinger around the scarf. Run the loop down the length of the scarf to bunch it together and twist it a little, which will make it a bit longer and easier to tie, if you want. For the coziest wrap, start with the middle of the scarf in front of your neck, then bring both ends around the back, cross over, and bring them around and tie in the front, tucking the ends under the loop.
