The BET Awards 2022 took place in Los Angeles's Microsoft Theatre on June 26 and it was certainly eventful — on the fashion front and otherwise.

For the second year in a row, the festivities were hosted by Oscar-nominated actor Taraji P. Henson. Needless to say, the ceremony was filled with many memorable moments including Jack Harlow bringing Brandy on stage with him (after the fiasco of not knowing she was Ray J's sister), and Mariah Carey being given her flowers by Lotto. The fresh overturning of Roe v. Wade also took the spotlight during the night, with many celebrities — including Taraji P. Henson, Jazmine Sullivan, and Janelle Monae — taking to the stage to call out the Supreme Court's decision.

This year, big winners included Megan Thee Stallion, Jazmine Sullivan, Silk Sonic, and The Weeknd; with Diddy being the honoree of the night. High-energy performances were the highlight of the night, but fashion did not take a backseat. From Lizzo, Jack Harlow, Chlöe Bailey, and everyone in between, here are some of the looks you might have missed from the BET Awards 2022.

Jack Harlow
The “First Class” rapper stole the show on the red carpet when he wore an all-black ensemble including a Lil Nax X merch tee with jeans and boots from Givenchy. The top was the perfect act of solidarity to Lil Nax X, who called out the BET Awards for homophobia after receiving zero nominations.

As usual, the “Truth Hurts” rapper shined on the red carpet in a custom midnight blue gown with feathered sleeves by Gucci. The gown even had a thigh slit we are obsessed with. The look was completed with platform sandals and diamond earrings.
