Summer is all fun and games until it’s time to find a bathing suit that compliments your boobs when you’re a busty girl. Unfortunately, shopping for suits that keep the twins perky and well-secured can be an actual nightmare. Speaking from personal experience, finding cute bathing suits that work well for my body type has always been a hassle. For whatever reason, swim tops for larger busts don’t look all that cute and are often just straight up ugly. And as model Yasmin Geurts told Teen Vogue, a good suit should feel like love at first sight!
In the past, whenever I thought I’d found one that could work there was some serious nip slip or a lack of support after a dip in the pool. But good news! This summer we’re saying goodbye to the plain, basic swimsuits made for big boobs and non-fitting suits. Instead, we’re saying hello to confidently rocking swimwear that makes us look and feel good. Here are eight swimsuits that flatter big bosoms and will have you strutting onto any beach this summer in serious style.
There’s nothing like scrolling through a list of swimsuits, finding the one you love and seeing that it isn’t supportive of big boobs. ASOS is one of the few brands that has a “fuller bust” swim tab available when shopping on their site. They vary from one-pieces to high waist bikinis and regular bikinis. Their prints are always on point and you can never go wrong with a striped design on a suit and if you don’t favor the excessive wiring on a lot of swim made for larger busts than a plunge neck design is ideal and keeps the girls nice and perked.
Believe it or not, triangle bikini tops are perfect for keeping the big boobies happy when designed with support The skinny strapping can be deceiving, but the shape simultaneously compliments and supports the girls. Gabi Fresh always does an amazing job of creating swim for larger bust and curvy girls with her Swimsuits For All collection. The “Princess Halter” bikini includes a mesh top that can be worn over your bikini top which adds a cute flair to your beach look, but it’s also great if you don’t want to feel overly exposed.
Bandeau swimsuits can be hit or miss when it comes to supporting a big bust, but Fig Leaves’ underwire one-piece gets it. Not only does this swimsuit hold up the girls, but it also gives the illusion of an extra snatched waist with tummy support. The Rene suit can be worn with or without straps for extra support and you can also add a chic cover up if you want to jazz up the bold red piece.
What can’t you find at Target?! Did you know they have a Shade & Shore line of swim curated just for women with larger busts? These swimsuits are sold in bra sizes opposed to Target’s other small-large swim sizing. The prints are fun, the colors are bold, and the fabric is long-lasting. I’ve worn my Target swimsuit from parties to quiet boat rides and I didn’t have to adjust my boobs once.
Neon and snakeskin are both trending for summer and we deserve to get in on some of the fun, right? ASOS does a great job of including what’s hot in their “fuller bust” collection and this suit is a perfect example of that. Their plunge neck and clasp closure is what makes this specific design so flattering on bigger boobs. It’s only right to complete the look with matching bottoms.
Look peachy and cute in Torrid’s peplum top swimsuit this summer, which is perfect for a less tight on the tummy option. The padded top has removable inserts and an underwire design complemented with a sweetheart neckline. Kick off your pool day in style with a supportive top for your boobs, it’s a win win!
Andrea Iyamah is one of my favorite Instagram finds. Upon stumbling onto the brand’s account, I immediately wanted everything. Every swim design screams “It Girl.” The black-owned brand has a way of telling a story with their swim and what makes them one of my favorites is that they cater to all size busts. Their RHINE top is perfect for the girl who wants to stand out on the beach, but without having the girls extremely exposed. Moreover, the pleated top features a wired cup and a shoulder overlay that assists in keeping the twins up.
Eloquii is serving up all of the extra for the summer and we’re here for it! For the girl who wants to turn heads, this cutout swimsuit will do the job. What makes this suit even better is the built in bra cups that’ll keep your boobs perked and comfortable. You can even adjust the bows to your liking for an hourglass illusion.
