If you thought the Met Gala 2022 was over, think again. The long-waited red carpet might have taken place on May 2, but we all know the day after the Gala is the day of the discourse— and we are here to provide.
With the theme “In America: An Anthology of Fashion,” Met Gala attendees were asked to serve Gilded Glamour and white tie attires for the event. While some delivered faithfully, others took a more modern approach, and others simply threw the theme out of the window… as usual. Quoting Kourtney Kardashian about the theme: “I guess I didn't really think about it.” And, well, that's fair sometimes!
Whether they are on theme or not, we all know how to appreciate a good look. That's why we are looking back at some of the best Met Gala 2022 red carpet looks, according to Teen Vogue editors. (Fashion is subjective after all!)

Billie Eilish stole the red carpet wearing a custom Gucci 'fit complete with a corset, seafoam green lace sleeves, and a cream-colored train. Although this was only her second Met Gala appearance, she managed to snag the crown for fashion's biggest night.

Best Caped Flautist: Lizzo in Thom Browne
The Met Gala Monday is filled with fashion entertainment as stars walk up the red-carpeted stairs, but Lizzo decided to add an extra layer of entertainment by delighting us with her flute skills.
