I didn't discover the YouTube beauty community until I came across another guru, ShellBarbie, a good friend of mine. I thought I might try it and messaged her on YouTube asking for advice. She told me to go for it! Within a day, I'd created an account and uploaded my first video. It was the best decision I've ever made.
What is your beauty philosophy?
Beauty can be anything and everyone sees it differently. It's what we breathe in every single day. Beauty is confidence.

I have flair for the creative, so most of the things on my channel come simply from my mind. I also love how YouTube connects people from all over the world. I get very inspired by trends I see from vloggers who are on the other side of the globe! Even random things I see on the street give me ideas.
What's in your makeup bag right now?
For my face, I'm currently using MAC Studio Fix Fluid Foundation and Studio Fix Pressed Powder. For my eyes, I always use Maybelline Line Stiletto Liquid Liner as well as their Falsies Mascara. Also, I haven't been able to put down my Naked2 Palette by Urban Decay. As for lips, I'm loving MAC Lipstick in Ruby Woo.

I'm generally a plain Jane when it comes to hair and usually wear it straight, but a new style I've been trying out is pulling my hair on top of my head and creating a massive donut bun. It's easy to do, looks classic, and allows you to have all your hair out of your face, letting your makeup to be the center of attention!
What was the hardest tutorial you've ever filmed and why?
I had a hard time creating a video collaboration with another guru. We had to work out a small script that didn't make us sound like robots, but still helped us stay on track. It resulted in a lot of bloopers! All of my videos are fun challenges.

I get a ton of girls emailing me and asking me on my Facebook fan page for help, and my advice is always the same: Go for it! It's a great way of expressing your creativity, you'll make amazing friends, and you can discover things about yourself as a person. You also get to watch yourself grow and change. I've only been making videos for about a year, but I look back on my first few tutorials and see how far I've come. Just be confident!
