There's an abundance of bold colors and bright patterns, with accessories dotting every surface and covering every wall for parallelism. Her vintage-heavy personal style extends into her space, from her makeshift closet (she ingeniously used milk cartons!) to the DIY-ed skateboard shelf. Annie walked us through her abode and gave us the scoop on all of her beloved possessions—including one very impressive dinosaur collection!

2/27Her Vintage Jacket
I found this jacket at a hip Japanese thrift store called Search and Destroy on St. Marks Place in the city. It's kind of hard to miss. They decorate their window with severed baby doll heads and suspended mannequins dressed in leather! Once you walk in, you'll be welcomed by zombie heads—and racks upon racks of cool merch. It's always an experience when shopping in that store.

The print dress I'm wearing is from Topshop, the vest I snagged from my sister, and the necklace is something I whipped up at the jewelry studio.

My mom gets heart attacks at the first signs of wrinkles, so I was "gifted" this Enprani facial set. I bought that charming was bought at a garage sale for three clams. The Marc Jacobs Daisy perfume was a little gift to myself because it smells so damn good.

That blazer on the dress form is probably one of my favorites. I was strolling through a shopping district in Korea and I came across it.
7/27Her Makeshift Closet
What you're looking at is the result of a desperate attempt to make a second closet with a $10 budget. My parents don't believe in Ikea so they gave me nine milk crates and told me to work with it. My roommate gave me a few wood bars to use as poles and I bought some nails and things to keep it on the wall. I think it worked out pretty well!

I like to color coordinate just so I don't have to dig for clothes in the morning.

This sweater was something I found on eBay. I love all things sequined.

I love platform sneakers! The top pair is LF and the bottom pair is from a small boutique in Korea. The funny thing about the pastel ones is that the platform is made from three layers of pastel colored flip flops which I thought was ingenious. They also add a slight bounce to your step as you're walking!

The backpack is another thing I snagged from my sister. I believe it's from Brandy Melville in Soho.

A lot of the jewelry I own is either made by me or bought for really cheap at thrift stores or shops like H&M.

I found a great African goods store around my apartment and they sell these fabrics, which you can buy by the yard.
15/27Her Ukulele
This part of my room is kind of like my relax station. Whenever I take a break from painting, I like to just nestle in between all my prints and strum a few chords on my ukulele.

I'm a huge fan of prints and they're a great way to take up some white wall space.

My friend gave me a deck and I had nowhere to put it so I decided to make a shelf for my tiny collection of dinosaur things. The print is my own, the little Pokemon is something my sister gave me from her Happy Meal, and the big one's name is Rex. Rex's pastime is gobbling up toy soldiers and roaring when you tickle his tail.

This side of my wall holds my jewelry. I bought a frame and this nifty letterpress drawer at a flea market to organize everything. Above that is a sewn illustration I did for one of my assignments.

These are two hats I DIY-ed. The top is hand embroidered and the camo hat is outfitted with spikes and a metal piece I made.
