Research Director

Yulia Khabinsky is the former research director at Teen Vogue magazine and had worked at the publication for more than a decade. She is currently the research director of Glamour, Allure and Self. She has two bachelor's degrees, one in journalism, and another in government and politics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and has worked in a freelance research and fact-checking capacity at more than a dozen publications. As a freelance writer, Yulia has published essays on the Soviet Jewish immigrant experience as well as on Jewish issues in general, mental health, New York City and musings about the power of nostalgia and the elasticity of time. Her work can be seen in Teen Vogue and The New York Times, among other publications.
