Maggie McDonald

Maggie McDonald was born and raised in Port Huron, Michigan, and turned 13 years old in July, 2024. Maggie is very involved in sports and clubs. She is co-captain of her cheer team, where she received a leadership award, and she is part of a nationally competitive dance team. This year, she won “Dancer of the Day” in her age group at the state championship. Her father has been in the St. Clair County Jail since October 2023. Maggie chose to be a plaintiff in a lawsuit alongside other children seeking the "Right to Hug" their jailed parents.
