Girlboss head shot - Teen Vogue

Girlboss

Founded by entrepreneur Sophia Amoruso, Girlboss was born from the book that sparked a movement. In May of 2014, Sophia's book #Girlboss skyrocketed onto the New York Times Bestseller list and stayed there - for nearly 20 weeks. Shortly after, "#girlboss" began to fill social media platforms, becoming a battle cry for a generation of women. In 2016, Netflix announced their purchase of #Girlboss to adapt as a scripted comedy, executive produced by Charlize Theron and written by Kay Cannon, also executive producing alongside Theron and Amoruso.

Today, Girlboss enables women to connect — across social, digital, and experiential platforms to discuss and share knowledge about career, entrepreneurship, personal finance, relationships, and more.
